One of the best things about the rally (I watched it online) was how it preempted criticism by mocking the way the media normally covers rallies.
One of the first things Stewart said was all political rallies are judged by only two things: how many people attend, and the racial composition of the attendees. So he started a "count off" where people in the crowd would say their number and their ethnicity--"One, Asian American," "Two, White," etc. Brilliant.
