Dunning was OK in this diavlog, and I agree with most of the critiques/rants on his Skeptoid podcast. However, I maintain that he is not a true skeptic since he doesn't examine his own biases. A perusal of his podcast transcripts clearly shows a libertarian/conservative bias, the default ideology of so many amateur "skeptics." (
Example.) He is welcome to his beliefs of course, but they need to be acknowledged, like those other libertarian faux-skeptics, Penn & Teller, do. If you're going to claim to be rational, evidence-based, and logical, you're going to be held to a high standard. Brian fails to meet that standard on multiple occasions.
