I've never gotten the fascination with Charles Johnson
He's not a good writer, rarely says anything insightful or interesting. Most of his blog consists of links and maybe a paragraph of prose. Post-911 he discovered you can have a successful blog by hating Muslims and Fundies, mindlessly supporting the WOT and Israel, and calling anyone you dislike a racist, anti-Semite and /or fascist.
Oh, and posting mediocre pictures of SoCal bike rides. But he seems to still have some dutiful followers and ex-followers who seem obsessed with him.
