You spent your tap-time here on an impression of bjkeefe instead of explaining how I "miss(ed) the point entirely," so I'll try again: how do libs, et al know that TARP pulled us back from a precipice instead of making things worse? We can't compare our world to one where TARP was eschewed and a response in line with Wilson/Harding was tried. We do know that the rebound was much quicker then, but this is no proof that Conn and I are right. The data are crap. You said it yourself, 1920 was not like now... but that can be said about any other time prior to now, so why do internet jackass libs think that there's some clear, clean historical record + simple-minded equation that proves them right?
