Re: What shaped your philosophy?
And one more, Wonderment.
I don't know whether you identify more with Jews than with others, but I know that you know Jews who do, so imagine this:
Affirmative action is changed so that instead of f**king with asians and white goys, it f**ks with Jews. Jewishness becomes one of the protected classes and is included in the Uniform Guidelines along with things like Latino-ness. Lawyers like Barack Obama with nothing better to do than screw corporations out of their money start checking the racial mixes of every one looking for "disparate impact." And what do you know, it's there! Jews are at most 5% of the country but they're like 30% at big name schools, over-represented in management everywhere, etc. How can this be? It must be racism! Jews in positions of power are purposefully designing selection criteria to specifications that help Jews! Jews in academe are hell-bent on making sure that Jews have a 100% college grad rate instead of the current 85%. They're intentionally finding ways to prefer their own because we all know that there are no average racial differences. We already know that they are the richest people in America and the only way this could happen is through nefarious means. We have to sue and sue until the racial balance is more fair.
Would this bother you?
