WTF happened to our usernames?

Am I the only one who sees everyone's usernames all screwed up, just a bunch of random letters, some of them with diacritics, some of them Cyrillic, and all ending in an exclamation point? graz has become "gâ!" and chiwhisoxx is "chho!!" just to name some of the funnier ones.
