Bloggingheads ripoff on "The Good Wife"

Anyone else catch the Bloggingheads imitation on "The Good Wife"? There was a scene in which Chris Noth's character is being interviewed on a video web interview site called "Vloggingbrains" or some such. The website's design was a clear copy of the Bloggingheads site, so much so that I wondered if Bloggingheads' copyrights were being violated.

Forgive me if this has already been mentioned---I don't frequent the forums much, and only logged on tonight to mention this...

Fascinating. What episode was this in? CBS posts full episodes online. If someone knows about when during the episode this happened, it would be fun to grab a screenshot and post it here.

Did you see how fluid those vloggerbrain faces were in the vloggerbrain video player ?@??!?


Vloggerbrain users get to partake in grilled salmon while bloggingheads viewers are force fed peasant stock in terms of video quality.




There is one saving grace though, the dialog in the vloggerbrain videos was completely off. Way too scripted and less ULTRA casual that occurs on bloggingheads. Though those screencaps of previous show heads looked pretty damn close.

My impression (possibly wrong) from Brenda's participation in this thread was that it was authorized, in which case it's simply good publicity for bloggingheads. (I took her link to be promoting the episode of the show in which vloggingheads appeared. Perhaps it was just informational.) My apologies if I'm unaware of some aspect of it that's apparent to everyone else.

I think the split screen thing is pretty common now. But what was done on 'The Good Wife' was too close for comfort, but I don't know the legal ramifications. Any press is good press, I guess.

I can't believe that having now seen the definition of eerie, you persist in your suggestion that it's even remotely the right word to describe either of the cases to which you applied it.
