I think it's fairly obvious why the Center didn't ask that question: it's not a good question. Most experienced researchers would recognize that sort of question to be presumptuous. It is not Egyptians or Emiratees place to tell Palestinians what they should go along with. That's a Palestinian call at the end of the day. I can imagine a Palestinian being offended at being told by non-Palestinians what they should sign on to.
