I heard this saved audio just today and thought it was pretty damn interesting, it revolves around Garfield's death, the madman who killed him, and the doctors that made it worse.

I have incredibly hazy recollections of US history from a decade past, but what I do remember of Garfield was a brief stint as president, and a quick death, this little talk was far more fleshed out and interesting. Upon hearing about the doctors treating him I could only think they deserved to be strung up just as badly as the madman that shot the president. An unlikely hero in the failed efforts of one Alexander Graham Bell was related to that last part, though his efforts to save Garfield were not in vain as was explained in the audio...
