I mean, have you ever read The American Prospect? It can actually be a pretty badass magazine, and the best they can do is send over Gabriel Arana to go "uh, uh, well, uh, not really Conn.." in the face of what could be at best described as toxic nativism, and at worst racism. On a side note, I think that it is good for you to point out the tendency for repealing DADT to be put forth as a great moral achievement, when, as you say, it merely means you can be a cog in our military industrial machine without overt discrimination.
