![]() ... for those of you interested in the topic. Perhaps change has come!
The End of Wall Street as They Knew It. (photos are a bit too much, IMO) (I started this thread in the wrong place. It should have been Life, the Universe...) |

I am always interested in the way narratives are framed. They often lead us to erroneous conclusions and they are often meant to do just that (especially when politicians create them). For instance, in your article, the author attributes the fall in executive compenstaion to Dodd Frank and yet in this interview the reason lies somewhere else. I prefer to think that markets are being allowed to function properly, however vain a hope that might be. This is happening because revenues are down on Wall Street, profits are down on Wall Street. We're entering into a new paradigm shift on Wall Street. And this is one of the fallouts from that.

![]() PS. There seems to be some consternation about not being able to determine if there have been any new comments on the disqus forum. In case you haven't noticed, at the top of the comments section there is a sorting function you can click to put the newest posts first.

![]() No.
But your comment reminded me of that expression, which I hadn't heard in many years. It's a very affectionate expression which can be used in many interactions, from the tenderest way of addressing a beloved child, to a romantic or lusty call. I just had forgotten about it. Me hizo reir con ternura. |

mi español es horrible, pero traductor Google es genial! P.S. actually computer translations are dangerously inaccurate sometimes! i hope all those who want to upload themselves into computers, will take note! subtly counts, the heart is terribly nuanced in the dance of passion and reason. con el ritmo perfecto, canta no llore!
