HP looking to exit pc market, number 1 in the world not enough
and of course they are ditching the tablet/phone market, at least in terms of hardware.
Margins are lower, there is cut throat competition, and... it's too hard for the current CEO / board to stomach it seems. This.. reaction reminded me of the reaction from Denethor in lord of the rings when faced with tough odds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAW2LxJRLqM the problem is it does not seem hp has a Gandaalf to get them to mettle up.
