Dunning was OK in this diavlog, and I agree with most of the critiques/rants on his Skeptoid podcast. However, I maintain that he is not a true skeptic since he doesn't examine his own biases. A perusal of his podcast transcripts clearly shows a libertarian/conservative bias, the default ideology of so many amateur "skeptics." (Example
.) He is welcome to his beliefs of course, but they need to be acknowledged, like those other libertarian faux-skeptics, Penn & Teller, do. If you're going to claim to be rational, evidence-based, and logical, you're going to be held to a high standard. Brian fails to meet that standard on multiple occasions.
