outside the elevator, it's poor social skills. Inside the elevator, at 4 AM with no one else there, it's poor social skills, and it's kind of creepy. It's not gouging a woman's eyes out, and I suppose that's Dawkins' point. It's just creepy.
I'm sorry to hear about all the mysogynist emails, but if we accept Ms. Watson's argument, then it couldn't really be otherwise. If she didn't get any mysogynistic emails, and only got supportive comments, then she would be wrong about her argument. It's kind of a misanthropic principle, to turn a phrase.
