Default The greatest movie ever made - Ikiru (To Live)

http://movies.netflix.com/WiPlayer?m...450709&t=Ikiru

Years ago I saw an episode of Charlie Rose dedicated to Michael Crichton who died of cancer (jurassic park fame), so I went searching on amazing and came across an interview he did there, and in one of the Q&A answers I found this.

Q: You are stranded on a desert island with only one book, one CD, and one DVD--what are they?
A: Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu (Witter Bynner version)
Symphony #2 in D Major by Johannes Brahms (Georg Solti)
Ikiru by Akira Kurosawa

I later watched that last movie, and I can understand why he chose it.

It is an old movie, black and white, and also a slow movie, but very good and very moving.
