Someone should dig up Wolpoff'S past lectures on multiregionalism and the "Out of Africa" because I know there is at least one I recall hearing in college that demonstrated to me his utter contempt of the idea that our origins could in fact be African in the modern sense. The tone of his remarks I will never forget and has cemented the idea in my mind that some multiregionalists do/did harbored racist motives. But that was then and this is now . . . People do change.
