Default Wingnuts?

What happens when people take seriously the bullshit currently offered by the Rightosphere, and AM radio talk.

You're exactly right. Expect much more of this kind of thing.

Possible silver-lining: victims-rights advocates push for Glenn Beck et al being tried as accessories to murder.

I too have felt the urge to go postal, I have been so corrupted by talk radio...

More like an example of a deranged individual unleashing his insanity onto others. The number of individuals who do this kind of thing are so small as to be nonexistent.

derangement comes in many forms, and there is no monopoly from any political ideology.

from animal liberation nutters who fire bomb houses of researchers to the ancient practices of the weather underground to the mob of people who followed that nutter and drank poison to etc. etc.

I happen to be an atheist, and see lots of nutty religious beliefs bandied about, but I see a startling number of nonsensical beliefs from more "secular" peoples as well.

The truth is, derangement is here to stay, and will take many forms, it spans belief systems and age and income and ___________.

Not all derangement/exotic beliefs leads to death

take the peta guy above, mix his over the top sensitivity to animals with the above, and you get interesting results.

Though I admit, the religious nutters are pretty up there:

Thanks for that link, and good for Charles Blow. It's about time someone in the MSM started saying these things. You'd think people who thought five seconds of a Jeremiah Wright sermon merited three months of wall-to-wall discussion would have been on the cases of Bachmann, Beck, and Norris, not to mention a host of others, a lot sooner than this.
