CORRECTION: In this diavlog Mollie Ziegler Hemingway refers inaccurately to a recent article in The New York Times about the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. She says the story failed to mention that 185 congregations elected to leave the ELCA in the months following its August 2009 decision to let noncelibate gay ministers serve in the church. The Times story, by Laurie Goodstein, did report this fact.
