Nothing at all. It's just that I sympathize with the frustrations that such movements grow out of, which, I think, reflect a very real and justified sense that ordinary folks are being cheated; that the game is rigged against them.
Though I'm not AlwaysCynical (TM), I'm enough of a cynic to believe that such movements can never stay pure for long, whatever their followers may want to believe. My only (faint) hope is that, a la Adam Smith, the selfish interests of the pols cancel themselves out and we get an outcome at least vaguely resembling what one would hope for in a world of saints.
Then the cynic takes over and I just see all the liars and crooks scratching each others' backs.
There but for the Grace of God go I.
