Unable to Embed a Diavlog in Google Reader

Google reader has a Have some thoughts to share? box above your shared item in which you can post whatever you like (in principle you could turn your shared items into a blog that way). Now this way I have shared Youtube videos by embedding the code. I tried to do the same with BHTV and either I get an error message from Google Reader or it gets shared but some part of the code gets deleted (it starts from " flashvars="diavlogid=) so I get text instead of the video.
