I think John Horgan said in a diavlog once (hopefully I'm paraphrasing accurately) that the only area where he didn't support free scientific inquiry was in genetic racial differences like the ones...

It can be science, but it's often a form of "social science" (i.e. bad statistics) and in this case it seems to me more like philosophy.
