I thought that what Melody was trying to do was exactly right; namely trying to turn ten minutes of Michael rambling into a simple coherent abstraction that the rest of us could actually understand....

1) it seems to be characterized in unnecessarily biology-specific terms,
2) it doesn't explain complexification of chemistry that surely must have preceeded the...
