Differentiate between "happy" and "satisfied."

1. Click User CP in the horizontal bar running across the top of any screen in the forums.

2. On the next page, click Edit Signature in the left column.

3. On the next page, put whatever you like in the text box, including links. Optionally click Preview Signature and when you're happy, click Save Signature.

Another technical question from the ignorant: can you tell me how people put those little aphorisms at the bottom of all of their posts? I haven't been able to figure it out.

I wouldn't worry overmuch about reading up on forum protocol. If you're a reasonably reasonable person, your own judgment ought to get you pretty close. If you go too far off, either your post won't be answered or someone will say "What does that have to do with anything?" But we're a pretty free-wheeling bunch here, and we do like our tangents, so basically, you should be able to figure it out by looking at what other people say.

And that post was really not on topic, or "thread or whatever." But your comment made it fun. I LOLed (gads- what's happening to me) -but then I thought, oh.. that's exactly what "they" would say to a B. Perfect!
