A two-minute video on private prisons and immigrants (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuGE1VxVsYo). Well worth watching.

These private prisons have spent over $20 million lobbying state legislators to make sure they get state anti-immigrant laws approved and ensure access to more immigrant inmates.

Here's how you can tweet it, facebook it and help: http://mycuentame.org/immigrantsforsale

Utterly depressing.

What's interesting is that the advocates for this barbarism call the opponents of it fascist.

I have very little hope that we're ever going to be able to stem the growing tide of injustice in the world.

You appear to be under the mistaken impression that libertarians endorse immigration restrictions.

Another proof of the superiority of privatization over public services!

Except that it's not true privatization. True privatization would be free of corporatist influence peddling.

Ah, the old No True Conservative (http://bloggingheads.tv/forum/showpost.php?p=208611&postcount=32) card is played.

No one could have predicted.

P.S. Do you just toss a coin to decide whether you're going to type "statist" or "corporatist?"

It's ridiculous to argue against libertarian policies by arguing against non-libertarian policies.
