are the leftwingers afraid that we are witnessing another jimmy carter moment in egypt as the Muslim Brotherhood and it's stooge Elbaradai takes over?

Turkey flips to Iran. Lebanon flips to Iran.

Great job, Obama. #weakhorse

I hope nobody primaries him, because everybody outside the USA knows what a weak, useless piece of garbage he is.

China and Iran took a measure of Obama and found him wanting and weak. Russia just took the US to the cleaners with the new START treaty. obama is losing his allies one by one in the mideast (turkey, lebanon, egypt).

Things are going so bad for obama right now, a war against Sarah Palin/Tea Partiers would be welcome distraction.

They are probably recording some right now, in the mean time, here are some discussions online.

Here's a tip, go to google video, type egypt, filter results to over 20 minutes long, and only list videos in the last 24 hours.

Bingo, egypt discussions and coverage.

Hello!!! We isnt happy ABOUT this EITHER! But while we are waiting, we can all enjoy some highly informed commentary, much along the lines quoted above, from the ultimate authorities!

Intro here (http://alicublog.blogspot.com/2011/01/new-voice-column-up-about-egypt-crisis.html), full column here (http://blogs.villagevoice.com/runninscared/2011/01/rightbloggers_c_5.php).

Title of the latter:

Rightbloggers Credit Bush for Egypt Uprising -- Then Blame Obama for Egypt Uprising

What is the evidence that El Baradei is a Muslim Brotherhood stooge? All I know is that he was the head of the IAEA, which I guess is part of the UN so that's bad, and that he looks a little like Michael Steele (although it may be the glasses), but that's basically it, so educate me please.

Bush was right about the Freedom Agenda. Either America is the one promoting "freedom" and "democracy," or Islamists will co-opt a twisted version of that and use it to topple autocratic governments.

the mistake the bush admin made in gaza was that they failed to find pro-democracy alternatives to Hamas (the muslim brotherhood in gaza) and the corrupt Fatah party.

they corrected that mistake in Pakistan in 2007 when Bush and blair helped pakistan transition from dictatorship to democracy by promoting free elections AND encouraging the return of beloved pakistan leader Benazir Bhutto to replace Musharraf-- a moderate alternative and a 1000x more acceptable than the Islamists.

And even tho pakistan still has problems with islamists (who assassinated bhutto, and they'll never live that down), the nuclear armed muslim country remains an ally of the US.

Either america sides with the people, or Islamist will present themselves as the ones who support their liberation from autocratic dictators.

In the eighteen days since you typed this, Bhtv has posted at least eight diavlogs that were entirely or in very large part about Egypt. These included at least eight diavloggers new or almost new to Bhtv who specialize in that region.

Seems like you ought to show enough class to post a note of thanks.
