I'm slipping into a funk. It's a pink (http://www.economist.com/blogs/americasview/2010/10/expropriations_venezuela) funk. Any suggestions? Perhaps a bit of pabellón criollo (while I can still get it)?

If it's getting as bad as The Economist says it is (something I think requires a bit of salt, though not necessarily the pink Himalayan variety), one thing to keep in mind is that these things do not last -- they ultimately collapse because they simply do not work. And for you: pray that the collapse is as least messy for the people of Venezuela as possible.

Perhaps a bit of pabellón criollo (while I can still get it)?

The good thing about a recipe is that it is pure information, and as such, it does not respect border controls. And I should think the raw materials will continue to be available elsewhere.

Being a little heavy-handed on the metaphor, I will leave it at that, and ask your pardon.

Catchy tune.

But do you mean to tell me that in the vast recesses of the Information Cloud Super Worldwide Net Highway (or whatever the nom de jour is these days) you couldn't find me a single musical tribute to Ronald Reagan or Milton Freidman or somebody like that?!

Oh well, I guess this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjA_RtsBfAo) will have to do.

I wonder what "el Ché" would have thought of it? I'm sure Maggie Thatcher would appreciate the Union Standard above the stage.
