Is this board so sadly lacking in Douglas Adams (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Douglas_adams) fans?

Good question. I thought "Life, the Universe, and Everything" was a great title for the "off topic" forum. But the allusion (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Life%2C_the_universe_and_everything) may have been lost on many folks.

If anyone has NOT read Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, stop what you are doing, go straight to the nearest bookstore, and buy it right now (http://www.amazon.com/Hitchhikers-Guide-Galaxy-Douglas-Adams/dp/0345391802/ref=pd_bbs_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1198871212&sr=1-2). It's the funniest book in the English language.

I tried Hitchhiker's Guide once, and couldn't get through it. However, that was a long time ago, and since then, I've heard Adams speak and found him hilarious. So I may try it again.

Don't Panic.

I thought this was Monty Python.(sorry.). However, next time you could post at the nearest galaxy.

Try this to compensate for the perceived lack of response(the white mice may not post but they are watching):
